I make a frozen fruit salad
that calls for 1 cup of sugar--if I use splenda how
will it change the points?

it takes
1 20 oz can drained pineapple chunks
1 20 oz can drained crushed pineapple
2 small cans drained mandrian oranges
3 cut up bananas
1 16 oz can of orange juice
1 cup water
1 cup sugar--but I used splenda
It tastes just the sameusing the splenda Thanks for the point help

But it is the BEST home made applesauce around. I have no idea how many points it is...

8 Granny Smith apples
1-2 cups of sugar
1-2 cups of water
cinnamon (not too much, just to add some great flavor)
1 lemon
1 whole clove

Peal apples, then cut them into large pot. Add water, sugar, cinnamon and lemon (cut in half) and clove. Place on low heat, and stir occasionally. Will simmer down to some incredible applesauce. Remove lemon peals and clove before chilling. Serve chilled.

Apple Cobble

3 Jongold or other baking apple peeled, cored; cut into 1/2 in cubes
1/4 c applesauce
1/2c fat free milk
1/2 c flour
1/3 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 375 spray on 8x8 in pan with non stick spray. Arrange apples in dish & back until tender (about 15 min) remove & let apples cool then stir in applesauce.
To assemble cobbler-reduce oven temp to 350, spray six 4 oz custard cups or spray pan with non stick spray.
Combine milk, flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla, cinnamon & salt in a bowl & whisk until smooth.
Divide the apple mixture into the cups & top each with the batter. Bake until golden brown about 20 min. Serve warm
serves 6- 2 points each

Here is another apple recipe that is out of this world.

Apple-Stuffed Chicken Breasts

1 pound skinless boneless chicken breast halves (4 breasts)
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 medium tart cooking apples -- peeled and cut into thin
1 cup apple cider
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Heat coals or gas grill. Place chicken breast halves between 2 pieces of
waxed paper. Pound chicken to 1/8-inch thickness. Mix sugar and cinnamon.
Coat apple slices with sugar mixture. Divide apple slices among chicken
breast halves. Fold chicken around apples; secure with toothpicks.

Cover and grill chicken 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 20 to 25 minutes,
turning once, until juice is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces
are cut. Remove toothpicks.

Mix apple cider and cornstarch in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat,
stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Spoon over chicken. Yield:
4 servings.
